Jordan Spieth took his second PGA tour title as he beat Patrick Reed and Sean O'Hair in a dramatic playoff. Spieth, Reed and O'Hair were tied for the lead after 72 holes forcing a 3 way playoff.

Reed found a horrible lie in the bunker on the 1st playoff hole but managed to scramble a par, which was goof enough to join O'Hair and Spieth on the 2nd playoff hole.

Sean O'Hair had an opportunity to take the title, but agonisingly saw his putt lip out on the 16th. Reed had scrambled on the first 2 playoff holes to keep him in with a chance and it looked like the playoff was going to go to a fourth hole, until Spieth holed a brilliant long putt to take the title.

It is Spieth's fist title since the 2013 John Deere Classic, I somehow don't think this will be his last victory. He is one of the most talented young American golfers who is not shy about wanting to challenge for the No 1 spot.

Despite the praise Spieth receives he was humble about his win saying:

“That putt was just luck. If that doesn't hit the hole I’ve got a four-foot slider, but I guess it was my day.”

The overnight leader Ryan Moore wasn't able to keep up with the pace on the final day and finished 2 back at 8 under par, Henrik Stenson had a strong final day and managed to get within 1 of the playoff.

It's great to see that some of the worlds best players are hitting top form with only a few weeks to go until the Masters.
