I have been a fully qualified teaching professional since completing my Profesional Golfers Association training in 2011. During my training I learnt a great deal about the golfing industry, studying all areas of the game in detail, from Swing Technique & Analysis to Golf Psychology & nutrition, which gave me a high level of understanding the game as a whole. However it was always coaching and player development that excited and interested me.

After completing my PGA training I taught at the UK Headquarters of the David Leadbetter Academy as a full time teaching Professional and Head of Junior Development. I also spent time at the Worldwide Headquarters of the David Leadbetter Academy in Champions Gate, Florida, USA, which gave me an insight into one of the worlds leading coaches methods and thoughts about the game. Whilst in the US, I also studied under Steve Yellin, founder of the Fluid Motion Factor, which gave me a deep and unique understanding of Golf Psychology and the vital role it plays.

I have a holistic approach to coaching and believe that all areas of the game are equally as important, especially learning how to transfer the skills and changes you have made to your technique onto the course. As many golfers can perform well on the practice area and struggle when they are on the course playing lessons are an integral aspect of my teaching.

Having worked with players from beginners to scratch golfer and professionals, I understand the importance of treating every student as an individual, and strive to get the best from their game by tailoring lessons to suit each players needs.

Face to Face Lessons

Golf lessons are a great way to help improve your game and even learn a different approach to something you thought you already knew. The worlds best players are continually monitoring their performance to make sure that they don't fall into any bad habits so why shouldn't you do the same?

Be it 30 or 60 minutes, individual sessions have become the standard option for many golfers looking for a swing fix. However in my experience this can sometimes leave players and coaches with 'unfinished business' and possibly even a sense of frustration. Any adjustment to the golf swing takes time, patience and guidance which in most cases takes more than one or even two sessions. With this in mind I advise many of my clients to follow a Monthly Improvement Package, which allows both myself and my pupils the chance to focus on the problematic aspects of their game over a longer period of time. In my experience I have found that this method also helps players to commit to a set practice routine and re-focus which in turn encourages positive improvements.
